Individual Services

  • Initial Consultation (Compulsory to Access Services)

Cost: $97 (20 minute call & 10 minutes documentation and planning)

The initial consultation is completed by the parent, caregiver or individual seeking support. This session establishes a clear understanding of current strengths, challenges and goals, and provides space to explore developmental history, daily routines, emotional wellbeing and the environments most relevant to the person.

Information gathered guides the direction of therapy and helps identify the sensory, motor, cognitive and regulatory foundations that may be influencing participation. The session also introduces practical strategies to begin supporting regulation and engagement at home, school, work or within daily life, while outlining next steps for assessment, intervention and collaborative planning.

During this call, we’ll decide together whether an Initial Occupational Assessment or Screening is the best next step. Completing one of these (Assessment or Screening) is required before moving into regular therapy services.

  • Pediatric Occupational Therapy Sessions (In-Person or Telehealth)

    Cost: $193.99 (45 minutes F2F, 5 minutes handover & 10 minutes documentation) + Travel ($48.50 to $97 subject to distance)

Individualised sessions delivered in the environment most relevant to your child, guided by the goals and recommendations outlined in the initial assessment and report. Intervention is targeted and purposeful, addressing the specific sensory, motor and regulatory foundations identified during assessment.

Sessions integrate sensory-motor intervention, therapeutic movement and structured skill development to strengthen core stability, bilateral integration, postural control and adaptive responses. Where relevant, focus may include handwriting, coordination, classroom engagement, emotional regulation or participation in daily routines.

These sessions run on a term (or remainder of term) basis. When a session cannot be attended, the allocated time is used for school or preschool communication, doctor or allied-health correspondence, connection updates and related clinical support.

Please note that sessions run on a term or holiday intensive basis. In addition to the weekly session fee, a once-off Developmental Planning & Communication fee is charged per term or holiday program. This covers term goal setting, home programs, and additional communication. Full details are outlined in the fee schedule.

Sessions to be booked post Initial Consultation.

Sessions available on Tuesday Thursday & Friday.

The below services may be scheduled and booked during your initial consultation. If you decide to arrange one of these services at at another time, please contact the clinic so we can confirm availability and any travel considerations.

A focused screening session designed to explore key areas of sensory processing, movement, regulation and functional participation. This session uses non-standardised assessment methods, including clinical observation and movement analysis.

A standardised sensory profile measure, along with a parent questionnaire, will be provided and need to be completed by a caregiver.

The screen provides an overview of developmental patterns and practical recommendations. A concise written summary outlining findings and suggested next steps is provided following the session.

An in-class observation designed to explore how sensory processing, movement, regulation and environmental demands influence engagement and learning. Observation occurs within the classroom setting.

The session provides insight into developmental patterns within the school context and identifies targeted strategies to support regulation, participation and classroom engagement.

A detailed written report outlining findings and tailored recommendations is provided following the observation.

  • NDIS Access Supporting Evidence Report (Under 9 Years)

    Cost: $581.97 (1 hour F2F & 2 hours report writing) + Travel ($48.50 to $97 subject to distance)

The report outlines your child’s functional capacity across key areas including regulation, sensory processing, motor development and participation in everyday activities. It clearly describes how challenges impact daily life and why early therapeutic support is recommended.

This report may be completed in lieu of a full Functional Capacity Assessment where the purpose is access only and broader funding recommendations are not required.

Previous Occupational Therapy Assessment will need to be completed or time allocated to complete Assessment to support application.

Supporting Access to Therapy

A number of funding pathways are available to help ensure therapy remains accessible and sustainable for families.

  • Payment is made at the time of session. A receipt is issued for you to submit directly to your health fund under Occupational Therapy, depending on your level of cover. Rebate amounts vary according to individual policy.

  • Payment is made at the time of session via card or bank transfer.
A receipt is provided immediately for your records. This option offers flexibility and is suitable for families not accessing external funding.

  • An invoice is issued following each session. You (or your nominee) submit the invoice through the NDIS portal for reimbursement. This option allows flexibility in choosing your providers.

  • Invoices are sent directly to your Plan Manager. Your Plan Manager processes payment on your behalf. No upfront payment is required for plan-managed participants. Plan Managers must pay invoices within 7-days.

  • If you are accessing therapy under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) / Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan, you must have a GP referral specifically made out to Occupational Therapy. With this referral in place, you are eligible for up to five Medicare-rebated sessions per calendar year across all allied health services.

CDM/EPC plans are available to individuals who have a chronic or ongoing condition that has been present for six months or longer. This may include developmental, physical, neurological, psychosocial or mental health conditions that benefit from multidisciplinary care. Your GP will determine eligibility and prepare the referral.

Payment of the full session fee is required at the time of your appointment. Once payment is made, you can submit the receipt through Medicare (via the app or MyGov) to receive the rebate. The rebate amount is set by Medicare (usually around $58 for Occupational Therapy) meaning the session is still out of pocket.
